Filming :

Minimum of 7 days, we charge for the duration of the hunt, and not for the day traveling to and from the hunt.

Editing Costs:

Where more than one cameraman is used on a safari and the footage is to be edited into one documentary, 50% of the standard editing fee will be charged for each additional cameraman. Your safari will be edited to your instructions, documenting the hunt with African music or music of your choice.


Bookings will be confirmed with a 50% deposit of filming days.

Payment for the balance of the filming and editing, as well as any optional extras, is due on the last day of the safari.

Payment is to be made by means of cash, traveler's cheques or wire transfer.

No alterations may be made to the quotation once on safari, unless prior arrangements have been made with African Video Productions management.

If the contracted period for the safari is not completed, the total fee applies and no refunds will be made.

Should you require extra copies of your edited video, a reproduction fee and postage will be charged, depending on the quantity ordered.

With your written permission, African Video Productions retains rights to all video footage.

Included in the filming and editing costs:

  • All filming and tapes required for the shoot.
  • Editing of the video, documenting the safari with African music or music of your choice.
  • 1 copy of the edited video in the format of your choice. (VHS tape or DVD)
  • Transport of our cameraman to Johannesburg International Airport, Durban International or the operator's headquarters in South Africa.
